Transition Fair and Networking

The primary focus of this committee is planning and implementing events and fairs designed to bring information to families on services available to youth who are transitioning from high school to vocational and educational adult services programs. Annual transition fairs bring service providers to a central location to provide an interactive environment for all attendees. From diverse vendor displays to various speakers and presenters, the transition fair can provide the information needed for families to make decisions on the post-secondary future of their transitioning youth upon exiting high school.

Other events such as: career and vocational fairs, business expos, and employer tours are also an important step in introducing students and their families to the various options available after high school.
